fidem at 70
Since 2007 FIDEM awards its FIDEM at 70 prize. It was created for the celebration of FIDEM's 70th anniversary. The prize is given to people for their support of the art of the medal.
The two-sided medal given at the award is celebrating the ethos of FIDEM’s support of the art of the medal and the federation's 70th anniversary. It was selected at a competiton which took place in Budapest (Hungary) in 2006.
The FIDEM at '70 medal has been awarded in 2012 to:

- Mrs Sally-Anne Coupar, Great Britain
- Professor David Gaimster, Director of the Huntarian Museum, Great Britain
